Kenefick Communications is a full-service public relations and communications firm serving unions and union-affiliated enterprises almost exclusively. We have been in business as Kenefick Communications since 1986. From 1982 until 1986, the firm operated as Grace & Kenefick.
The firm’s principals are Greg Kenefick, Tara Landis and Lisa Gebbia. Mr. Kenefick is a 1968 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Journalism. He has been working in union communications for 35 years.

Mr. Kenefick’s first job out of college was as an editor for Merkle Press, Inc., a printing and publishing company which provided editorial services, art work and photography to as many as 50 national and international unions.

In 1972, he was appointed senior writer with the American Federation of Government Employees in the union’s public relations department. Two years later, he was promoted to director of the department. In 1980, Mr. Kenefick went to work for the International Association of Machinists, departing in 1981 to form the firm of Grace & Kenefick.

Tara Landis holds an MA degree in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore, where she received the Agora Publishing Award for best traditional print media. She also holds a BA in communications from Towson University. She serves as art director for Kenefick Communications.

Lisa Gebbia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Towson University. She has worked in public relations for over ten years and also as an English teacher.
